Heidi, part of my final for Figure Modeling. As much trouble as I’ve gone through to make her, I think she turned out alright. xD She isn’t totally how I wanted her to be, like I wanted the horns to be bigger, but that was one of the main reasons why they broke apart the first time ><

LOL I felt like I was doing brain surgery while hollowing her out.

Okay. Let me tell you about this. -brace yourself for rant

Our assignment in figure modeling was to sculpt a fantasy character. We had one week to work on our character. So I sculpted Heidi. I’d been working on her the course of the whole week, going into the Cannery multiple times to work.

Today after figure drawing I went in to work more because she is due tomorrow. So, I go into the classroom, grab the board with her on it, unwrap the towel………and then everything falls off. Her horns fall off, her face falls off, the back of her head falls off, EVERYTHING FALLS OFF.

At that moment I was panicking. Like seriously, I was almost about to cry. I was so fucking worried if I would be able to fix and finish her in time for tomorrow. Luckily Earl, my instructor, walked in. I told him what happen and he tried to help a little, but then he left. Theeeen my good friend staaahhhppp walks into the classroom THANK GOD, and she tries to help me. But then everything started looking really lopsided and nothing seemed to be working and I was stressing out and so finally I had to strip the horns and face. I had to start from scratch. SCRATCH. And this is due TOMORROW.

So I ended up sculpting my ass off for about 5 hours and this is the result. She’s not what I was totally hoping for, but I’m glad I was able to finish her.

Yea….so I’m gonna go….idk, lay in bed now.
